Tap “Voice Assistant’ in the JBL Connect app, to make the “” button as the activation key of Sid or Google Now on your phone.

Press the “” button on the speaker to activate Sid or Google Now on your phone. Please make sure the Sid or Google Now is enabled on your phone.

6. JBL Connect
Wirelessly Link 100+ JBL Connect+ Speakers Together.

Play music on one of you JBL speakers and then press the JBL Connect+ button on all desired speakers to start pairing. Al the other JBL speakers will play same music from the music source.

Download the JBL Connect app for the following features: stereo setup, firmware upgrade, and device renaming.

JBL Flip 4 is IPX7 waterproof.
IMPORTANT: To ensure that the JBL Flip 4 is waterproof, please remove all cable connections and tightly close the cap; exposing the JBL Flip 4 to liquids without doing so may result in permanent damage to the speaker. And do not expose JBL Rip 4 to water while charging, as doing so may result In permanent damage to the speaker or power source.

IPX7 waterproof is defined as the speaker can be immersed in water up to lm for up to 30 minutes.

can you please tell me how much it weight?

does this have a 3.5 mm jack?

It has an input 3.5 mm jack.

does it come with a case?

No it doesn’t. It really needs to come with one as the speaker domes on the ends are unprotected and can be easily damaged.

Is it a 360 degree speaker?

The mid and high frequency speakers are directional (there is a front and a back to the speaker). The bass speakers are located on each end of the cylinder. It is slightly directional as far as sound goes.

is it stereo?

Yes – left and right channel output – fairly decent separation too!

can it be used in a stereo set up with two?

Yes it can. Technically, with 2 drivers in each unit, you are already playing in stereo but, with so little separation it’s not noticeable. If you purchase 2 JBL speakers you link them together. At that time they will be each playing stereo. I downloaded the JBL app for Android from Google Play. When the speakers are playing you open the app and select “Stereo” so that one speaker will be assigned music from the right channel and the other will play the left channel. The app also allows you to reassign right/left channels to the other speaker.

Yes only the a flip 4.

Can it be connected to PS4 via bluetooth?

Not sure. Try the website. The JBL Bluetooth is excellent.

What ports does this have? can i plug in a flash drive or a memory card into this? maybe via the micro usb slot?

It has a micro-USB charging port and an aux audio port. You cannot use a memory card directly, since the speaker doesn’t decode MP3 files or anything else.

Can we use FM ?

This is a Bluetooth speaker that would connect to a wireless device. It is not a radio.. if you are speaking of FM radio

what does the red led mean?

Blinking red while not charging means it’s gonna die, blinking with USB means charging

Will it play songs from a thumb drive?

No, this speaker is not compatible with a thumb drive.

Can i connect it to Samsung TU8000 smart tv?

Yes, our JBL Flip 4 can connect to a smart TV via Bluetooth. But we don’t recommend it because you may experience audio lag/sync issues.

Is the battery replaceable?

Yes but you have to take it apart. Look on YT and there are videos.

Can you load music?

Yes, its 3000mAh which means 3000 music Album handles. But there is no battery, atleast is doesnt mention and mbs, gbs, or tbs.

How to control volume with tv?

JBL Flip 4 is designed for music streaming while connected with phones, tablets, and laptops. It’s not recommended that our portable Bluetooth speakers would be used to connect with a TV. These speakers are not equipped with apt-X-HD low latency audio codec and may cause audio-video delays.

Flip 4 or charge 4? What’s the difference?

Our JBL Flip 4 is compact portable speaker that is rated IPX 7 waterproof, our JBL Charge 4 is the same but with added USB charging ports for your devices to charge while it’s playing.
